The NAR states that the average agent gets only a quarter of their business from referrals, 14% said they have never received a referral from a past client and 7% said they had never had a referral. However top agents who reported making over 150k a year say they get about 30%.
Last year I garnered 56% of my business from past clients and other referrals. My client first philosophy has always served me well! I definitely agree with the author that it’s not luck, it’s being a personable caring agent. I have always striven for that and it clearly pays off!
